Old Train Stations in Kansas
2002 Trip Through Prarie Revealed Ties to Past
Back in early 2002, I spent some time in central Kansas. There's a lot of history here, including a number of railroad passenger stations left over from the days when folks used trains to get from town-to-town. Here are some photos.
By the way, Greensburg is just a bit west of most of these photos. It’s where the huge tornado hit on the evening of May 4, 2007. Help these folks out by donating to the City of Greensburg.
